8-time All-Star Tony Oliva spent his entire 15 year career with the Minnesota Twins. Oliva was awarded the 1964 Rookie of the Year after an incredible 1964 season where he won the batting title (.323 average), and also led the league in hits, runs, doubles and total bases. Oliva won another consecutive batting title in 1965 and a third in 1971. He was runner up for the 1965 MVP behind teammate Zoilo Versalles. Oliva also won a Gold Glove in 1966 and retired with a career .304 batting average.
Tony Oliva was inducted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022 by the Veteran Committee.
