14-time All-Star and 5-time World Series champion, Reggie Jackson, dominated the postseason for much of the 1970’s and into the early 1980’s. His impressive clutch hitting postseason performances earned him the nickname, “Mr. October.” He earned himself two World Series MVPs (1973 and 1977), as well as the 1973 AL MVP. Jackson has also led the AL in home runs 4 times, once in RBIs, and three times in Slugging Percentage. His career 563 home runs places Jackson 14th on the all-time home runs list and a member of the elite 500 home run club.
He was inducted on the first ballot into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.
